Housing Affordability Public Meeting

Last night I attended and spoke at a Housing Affordability Public Meeting hosted by John Alexander, MP for the Federal seat of Bennelong.

There were quite a few people at this meeting and a lot of views and comments expressed.  Some good ideas, some bad ideas and some rather naive comments made by people.

Clearly a lot of people do not understand how the property market works (or does not work) in this country and that the Sydney and Melbourne property markets are totally different to the rest of the country.

Not sure if this meeting will result in better policy for Australia or not.  I personally am not holding my breath.
